These low-cut shoes are a minimalist redesign of classic 1950s basketball shoes. The upper uses domestically produced leather, crafted in Himeji, a leading Japanese leather-producing region, using traditional techniques by Japanese artisans and sourced from the world-renowned "Kobe beef" leather. The heel of the sole incorporates Alpha Gel foam for enhanced shock absorption. The insole combines foam materials of varying hardness to maintain cushioning while adding support to reduce arch collapse and heel instability. The rugged outsole gives the shoes a substantial and robust feel.
