These brogue shoes are designed with the EMPEROR™ golf shoes, released in 1970, as their motif. The upper uses domestically produced leather, crafted in Himeji, a leading Japanese leather-producing region, using traditional techniques by Japanese artisans, and sourced from the world-renowned Kobe beef.

While maintaining the classic beauty of THE ONITSUKA leather shoes, the shoes pursue further improvements in comfort.

In particular, the flexibility and cushioning performance have been significantly improved, resulting in a light and comfortable fit. High-rebound foam material is used from heel to toe in the midsole, effectively enhancing cushioning and flexibility.

Alpha Gel foam is incorporated in the heel of the sole to enhance shock absorption.

The insole combines foam materials of different hardnesses to maintain cushioning while adding support to reduce arch collapse and heel instability.

The outsole uses rubber sponge, which combines durability and cushioning.

Based on the sole design used in past archive training shoes, this shoe features a thick shark sole with circular designs on the forefoot and heel.
