For the attached leather, we use the highest quality North American and European raw hides depending on the season, and use chrome tanned and dyed finish. The surface has been treated to be water repellent, and it has been finished over time to give the leather a shrink feeling. The leather is colored from the core to the grain surface, dried naturally so that the texture does not change, and is beaten with a drum to create a natural shrinkage.
