The "HEAT" series combines two different materials with excellent durability and water resistance, resulting in a rugged yet stylish design. Since its launch in the 2001 A/W season, the series has expanded to include items that suit the lifestyles of the times, offering a wide range of products from business bags to accessories. The main material is Japanese-made ballistic nylon woven with 66 nylon yarn, which is also used in car airbags and bulletproof vests and boasts excellent heat resistance, abrasion resistance, and tear strength. Parts of the bag use highly water-resistant tarpaulin fabric, which is used as an industrial material. While it is a single tone of black, the combination of fabrics with different textures creates a stylish design with a strong contrast. Military-inspired features are incorporated throughout, including the PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System), which allows pouches and small items to be attached by sewing nylon tape at regular intervals. The bag body is made of thick, high-density woven nylon tape placed in key areas, giving it a three-dimensional silhouette that prevents fabric sagging and provides excellent handling. All models except pouches, wallets, and pen cases come with a detachable key holder made of vegetable-tanned leather and a Maglite flashlight with the PORTER logo engraved on it.
