The leather casual series "PORTER GUARD" uses water-repellent leather with a waterproof fastener to enhance functionality and design. By combining embossed leather treated with Scotchgard for water and oil repellency, and a waterproof zipper featuring a zipper tape with a pattern that resembles the texture of leather, we have enhanced design as well as functionality. Domestic adult cow hide is used as the main material. After chrome tanning, the tanned leather is re-tanned using a combination of synthetic tannins and vegetable tannins so that the texture of the leather and the embossing of the shrink appear well. Scotchgard's chemical is soaked in the leather at the same time as the greasing process, and fine shrink shrink embossing is applied to the finish to enhance compatibility with the zipper tape pattern. The embossed leather has just the right amount of elasticity and is also characterized by scratches that are less noticeable. For the main zipper and three-dimensional front pocket, YKK Aqua Guard zipper tape, which expresses a three-dimensional pattern like leather grain, is sewn from the surface to make it a design point of the series. The metal fittings are treated with glossy black nickel and have a luxurious finish with a polished finish. The parts that adjust the shoulder straps and backpack straps are engraved with PORTER. The brand tag is also a shrink-processed tag with a texture that matches the luster of the black nickel metal fittings. The interior of the front pocket has a power net material pocket that is ideal for storing smartphones and pass cases.
