The main material is domestically sourced cowhide. After chrome tanning, the leather is re-tanned using a combination of synthetic and vegetable tannins to enhance its firmness and shrink embossing. Scotchgard chemicals are incorporated into the leather during the fatliquoring process, and a fine shrink embossing is applied as a finish to enhance compatibility with the zipper tape pattern. The embossed leather has a moderate firmness and is resistant to scratches. YKK Aqua Guard zipper tape, featuring a three-dimensional leather-grain-like pattern, is sewn onto the main zipper and the three-dimensional front pocket, creating a key design element of the series. The metal fittings have a glossy black nickel finish and a polished, high-quality look. The parts for adjusting the shoulder straps and backpack straps are engraved with the PORTER logo. The brand tag is also a shrink-processed, textured tag, chosen to match the glossy black nickel material of the metal fittings.
