PORTER GLUE is a small leather goods series that focuses on the beauty and thinness of the finished product, using a technique called "sticking", in which two thin pieces of leather are glued together. Because it is lightweight and thin, it is composed of items that are assumed to be used in scenes such as business and travel. It is made of very thin leather of 0.5mm to 0.6mm, and it is thick enough to be hidden in the inner pocket of a suit jacket. The glue is applied thinly and evenly, and the two pieces of leather are carefully glued together. The material that is pasted together becomes one piece of material, and both the front and back are silver, so it is thin but strong, firm, and supple. In order to make it even more beautiful, the edge is cut vertically and carefully polished many times with dye to give it a natural luster. The outer leather uses Italian kip (cowhide leather from 6 months to 2 years old). After dyeing with the base color, deep embossing is applied, and only the convex surface is dyed with a one-tone darker color to create a "two-tone finish" that gives depth to the color. It is a embossed leather that does not stand out even if it gets scratched, and the semi-aniline finish that uses both dyes and pigments makes it difficult to fade. The lining leather to be pasted together uses firm combination tanned beef steer.
