This series of 3-way duffel bags, a recipient of the 2011 Good Design Award, combines excellent convenience and durability with a packing theme. The hand-carrying handle, backpack straps, and detachable shoulder strap are all attached to the same top gusset, allowing for quick changes in carrying style and adaptability to various situations. The main compartment opens fully like a suitcase, and the zippered divider provides excellent visibility when packing, making it easy to access and store belongings—a highly functional design. The material used is 1000-denier Cordura nylon, known for its tear and abrasion resistance, and the corners, which experience high friction, are further reinforced with sewn-in tape. Additionally, bar tacks are used to reinforce areas under heavy load, such as the strap attachment points. The nylon tape used in key areas is carefully selected and used according to its structure and function. For example, coarsely woven tape is used for the backpack straps and compression straps (to tighten the top gusset) to make them easier to adjust. Sizes M and below have a total external dimension of 115cm or less, making them carry-on size for international flights (100 seats or more). In addition, all sizes are equipped with zipper sliders that can accommodate padlocks or TSA locks.
