If I had to pick just one outerwear piece for spring, it would undoubtedly be this coat from Nanamica. 

This stand collar coat is definitely at the top of the list.

The biggest feature of this coat is its textile. 

The outer layer is made of 100% polyester twill fabric with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane, a so-called 2-layer material. 

Compared to Nanamica's standard stand collar coat with a cotton outer layer, this one has a softer look, is lighter, and has a better texture that fits the body nicely. 

This stand collar coat also uses GORE-TEX fabrics inside the pockets. 

While previous standard coats ensured waterproofing by layering a flap over the top, this approach could be somewhat cumbersome when taking out your hands or wallet.

By using GORE-TEX entirely inside the pockets, the idea is to store any incoming water there, passing the aforementioned test and simplifying the approach for inserting your hands into the pockets.
