The leather is tanned for seven days longer than usual, loosening the leather fibers to the maximum extent, and then oiled to plump it up with a soft, supple finish. This leather features a more pronounced grain than regular shrink leather, and a semi-aniline finish adds a sheen to the grain, creating a translucent, deep, and luxurious feel. The pronounced grain hides any pre-existing scratches or marks, and even minor scratches from fingernails, making it ideal for business settings. The minimal use of metal fittings creates a clean, elegant finish, and minimal use of core material maximizes the natural texture of the leather.
