This series is the first among Japanese bag brands to use Dyneema Bonded Leather, developed by ECCO LEATHER, as its main material. This ultimate hybrid leather is created by bonding cowhide with Dyneema, the world's strongest fiber. It is approximately 15 times stronger than steel and light enough to float on water. It's paper-thin and lightweight. Furthermore, Dyneema Bonded Leather is a sustainable leather that uses the company's proprietary "DriTan" tanning technology, reducing water usage by approximately 25 million liters per year and minimizing wastewater and chemical use. This card case features a wide gusset. A leather-wrapped snap closure, a common detail across all styles, is placed on the front as a design accent. Dyneema Bonded Leather is made by bonding Dyneema to very thin cowhide using a proprietary technology. Please note that the leather's surface appearance is a result of the bonding process.
