The "PORTER FILM" leather accessory series features thick shoulder leather that has been carefully coated with multiple thin layers of pigment and then lightly filed to create a unique, gradated look. The dense, firm texture of this leather is carefully tanned by a tanner in Tuscany, Italy, who has long maintained a method using only vegetable tannins. The shoulder leather features distinctive "tiger" patterns along the leather's spine. When filed after glass processing, these patterns create variations in friction, resulting in an uneven finish, making each piece unique. Furthermore, the bag gradually softens and becomes more comfortable with use. The zippers feature a luxurious, smooth, and lustrous gold-plated Excella zipper. The use of thick zippers, even for small items like coin purses, is a key design element of the series. To allow for a contrast between the glass-finished black surface and the tanned leather, the exterior is polished to a high-grade finish, with the edges carefully polished and then top-coated. The interior is luxuriously crafted entirely from leather, without any lining. The brand logo is burned into the bag using a highly precise laser, allowing for even the finest details that are difficult to achieve with standard engraving, resulting in a slightly burnt, dark brown finish.
