The PORTER DUKE wallet series features a combination of bridle leather and aluminum parts. Bridle leather, one of the oldest leathers, originated in Europe as leather for horse harnesses. Crafted from thick, durable cowhide leather (from cows over two years old) tanned with vegetable-based tannins, it's treated with beeswax and other waxes to tighten the leather's fibers, resulting in a robust and durable leather. The beeswax, hand-applied to the leather's surface, develops a lustrous sheen over time, resulting in a beautiful patina. This long wallet with a round zipper features numerous card slots, dividers, and a zippered pocket on the interior, making it easy to organize and store cards, receipts, and more. The exterior features a pocket for an IC card, and the interior also features multiple card pockets. To highlight the thick, durable bridle leather, skilled artisans have cut the edges. The elegant and traditional bridle leather, combined with aluminum zippers and D-rings, creates a casual look. It comes with an original box with the PORTER logo embossed on it, making it a great gift idea. *It also comes with a small original horsehair brush made by Kanaya Burashi, a company founded in 1914. *The white deposits seen on the surface are a unique characteristic of bridle leather, where the beeswax absorbed into the leather comes to the surface. *All of our leather products are produced using leather, a by-product of meat production.
