The main material is an original paper nylon cloth, woven with washi paper thread for the weft and nylon thread for the warp, resulting in a plain weave. The inorganic sheen of the nylon thread complements the natural texture of the washi thread, resulting in a soft yet elegant finish. Washi thread (OJO+) is a hollow-core thread made from Manila hemp-based washi paper, cut into long, thin strips, and then twisted into a yarn. It is lightweight, weighing less than half the weight of standard cotton thread, while boasting excellent strength and resilience. This original fabric is also bonded to reduce the overall weight of the bag.
