The hand-carrying handle, backpack strap, and detachable shoulder strap are attached to the same top gusset, allowing for quick and flexible carrying options for a variety of situations. The fully open main compartment, like a suitcase, opens wide and features a zippered compartment, allowing for easy access and visibility when packing. This highly functional design offers the added benefit of excellent packing visibility and easy access. Crafted from 1000-denier Cordura nylon, known for its tear and abrasion resistance, the bag is reinforced with sewn-in tape at corners prone to friction. Bar tacks (eyelets) are also used at areas subject to high stress, such as the base of the straps, for added reinforcement. The nylon tape used in key areas is carefully selected to suit the structure and function, such as using a coarse-weave tape for easy adjustment on the backpack straps and compression straps (for tightening the top gusset). Sizes M and smaller have a total external dimension of 115cm or less, making them suitable for carry-on luggage on international flights (with 100 or more seats). All sizes are also equipped with zipper sliders that can be used with padlocks, TSA locks, and other locks.
