The calfskin used has little subcutaneous fat, a dense grain, and a firm texture. Leather from calves under six months old has little hair and less visible pores, resulting in a fine, plump surface. While leather products typically use the same material for the edges as the main body, this series uses nylon tape for a visually slimming effect. Tucks on the front add a design accent. To maximize the bag's light weight, some items feature plastic parts, enhancing the casual feel.
