If the main body material is left wet for a long time, the film on the back may peel off, or discolor or deteriorate, so be sure to dry it before storing it. The water-repellent treatment is a surface treatment, so the effect will fade with use due to friction, etc. In addition, the water-repellent effect will be lost due to dust and other dirt that adheres to the fabric. The attached leather is finished only with dyes to make the most of the original texture of the leather, so there may be some color variation. Also, please note that discoloration cannot be avoided due to the nature of the raw finish. There may be wrinkles and scratches unique to individual leather. Item Description
This is a collaboration series with up-and-coming artist and illustrator "Mune Atsushi," who won the master-piece designer reviewer award at the international artist-led fair "UNKNOWN ASIA 2023," where artists from Japan and other Asian countries gather in Osaka. His illustrations are manga-like, but have a unique worldview that gives them a somewhat Japanese feel.
For this series, original graphics have been created showing each of the 13 animals in the Japanese zodiac, with the special addition of the cat, holding a master-piece bag.
Based on styles selected from master-piece's Root and Freak series, the main material is an oxford fabric with 600d polyester yarn for both the warp and weft, with original graphics printed using inkjet sublimation transfer printing, and the surface of the fabric has been treated with a water-repellent coating to make it water-resistant.
The yarn used for the attached fabric is RENU® recycled yarn from Itochu Corporation.
It is made from recycled old clothing and manufacturing waste collected from factories, making it an environmentally friendly, sustainable material that reduces the burden on the global environment.
The attached leather, which is black in color for the main body, is made of eco-cow leather tanned with vegetable tannins and has passed the Japan Leather Technology Association's 13-type hazardous substance test (JES), and does not contain any substances harmful to the human body such as hexavalent chromium.
The beige color of the main body is made of 1.8mm thick eco-nume cow leather (NISSENKEN OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified) that is tanned with 100% vegetable tannins without using any chemicals, dyes, or other substances that are harmful to the human body, such as hexavalent chromium, that are environmental pollutants.
The interior is fitted with a leather name tag engraved with Mune Atsushi's signature logo, symbolizing the collaboration.
