The raw skin of the main body leather is carefully selected and used from North American steer. After chrome tanning, 3M's waterproofing agent is put into the taiko at the time of dyeing, and the waterproofing agent penetrates into the leather fibers. Since the waterproofing agent is soaked deep into the fibers, it continuously prevents the penetration of water and oil from the back and sides of the leather, as well as from scratches. A large amount of special oil for waterproofing is permeated there, so it is finished with a supple and soft touch. The surface is also finished to have a fine texture like a kip. It is the ultimate soft smoothness that cannot be achieved without a good balance of tanning, dyeing, and oil blending. This leather is waterproof, oil-proof, and stain-proof (and does not easily leave fingerprints) that have passed the SCOTCHGARD® monitoring test. This monitoring test is performed even if the surface is scraped, so the effect will not fade as you use it. The attached material uses INVISTA's 1680D Cordura Ballistic® nylon, which has about 5 times the wear, tear strength, and durability of normal nylon, and PVC processing is applied to the back side to further improve strength and waterproofness.
