The bag is made of waterproof and stain-resistant leather that has passed 3M SCOTCHGARD® monitoring tests, so you can use it without worry even on rainy days.
The main material is a combination of carefully selected domestic rawhide that has been chrome tanned and then re-tanned with a small amount of tannin to give it firmness.
When dyeing, we fill the drum with a waterproofing agent made by 3M, which is allowed to penetrate into the leather fibers.
We use waterproof and stain-resistant leather that has passed the 3M SCOTCHGARD® monitoring test, which continuously prevents water from entering the leather, not only on the back and sides, but also through any scratches.
The test is performed even if the surface is scraped, so the effect will not be weakened.
After dyeing and greasing, the fabric is milled while being heated in a heat drum, which packs the fibers together and gives the fabric the right amount of stiffness.
In addition, by carrying out a long milling process after embossing, we have created a fabric that has a soft touch while retaining a moderate amount of firmness, and has a more uniform grain appearance than natural shrink.
The accessory material is made from thick, high-quality Australian rawhide that has been 100% vegetable tanned and then given a semi-aniline finish that brings out the leather's natural look.
