The main body is made of cow shoulder leather from LA BRETAGNA (Britagna), which has a factory in Santa Croce, Northern Italy. Conceria La BRETAGNA was founded in 1961 by Sig Testi Giovanni over a 40-year career. In order to pursue the production of high quality leather, we do not have a mass production system, but we are a tanner who specializes in shrink leather that is particular about the manual work of a small number of elites, and is a member of the Italian Tannin Tanning Association. The shoulders of European raw hides are tanned, dyed and greased using plant tannins over a long period of time using the traditional "Vacetta manufacturing method" that has been handed down from ancient times to Santa Clause. The final finish is graining (Boranata) to give each piece a different look, depending on the part. The more you use this warm leather, the more slowly it ages, so you can enjoy aging for a long time. In addition, it is said that natural plant tannin (*) has an antibacterial effect.
